A Matter Of Life And Death

Life and death do not matter anymore. People don't even think about it. We have become too much individualistic in this materialistic world. How? Have a look at the following story.

A 57-year old man lost his life in a Bucharest hospital, Romania, as a nurse, who was supposed to look after him went to sleep without informing anyone and declined to get up when alerted by other patients when the man, suffering from lung cancer, asked for oxygen. Before his last breath, the man struggled the whole night watched helplessly by other patients.

We should ponder seriously, what if it happens to you and me ?

It is very true what you say, for occasions we cannot value the life, and walk in things that harm our health.

Thank you very much for your visit

Life and death are not more important for us now these days, as we have forgot out moral and emotion due fast life in the jet age. The emotions are completely vanished in our minds. So, get ready to live a life where emotions have no importance.

not trying to be cruel - but we live in a world that doesn't care much about us, it's understandable how someone can not care about the "world" in return (the world = the other ones). it is not understandable how come a nurse can show no sympathy for the dying. then again, in my country - Romania, medical staff is not suficient, and they are under paid. I'm not trying to find excuses, there aren't any.
