More than 10,000 movie buffs, film-makers and critics put the movie on top of their list. 'The Godfather', in which screen legends Marlon Brando and Al Pacino played crucial roles, ranked as the second greatest movie in American cinematic history, behind Citizen Kane on the AFI's 100 Years...100 Movies (10th Anniversary Edition) list by the American Film Institute.
