They say that no age bar can limit one from getting higher education. According to Croatian Times, a Croatian woman living in Italy has obtained a degree in philosophy, at the age of 85. Mejra Moise, who was born in on the Adriatic Island of Cres received her first degree in literature 62 years ago. Congratulations! Unfortunately I did not find a single photograph of Moise. I wish her all the very best for more higher education.

Age is no barrier. It's a limitation you put on your mind.

I admire these women or men ! and yes it is never too late to learn something, otherwise you are half dead already !
“Knowledge is never too heavy to carry.” That’s what my grandmother has always told me. She’s one of the smartest persons that I know and she’s an endless source of information and advice. She only got 5 school years worth of education and still she can keep up intelligent and deep conversations with well educated people. While she has never felt a need to go back to school she’s never turned down an opportunity to learn more. She’s my hero and when I grow up I want to be just like her.
"Create the kind of self that you will be happy to live with all your life." I'll try to remind myself this sentence when I think for the n-th time what to do in the future. Inspiring story!
ha ha ha...its really funny and incredible..what will you do by earning a degree at 62...
Philosophy!how amazing. This tells us that age got nothing to do with ambition!
Thanks for posting this about education and these women.
wow, pretty cool
It is indeed great but for me education at that age is almost suffocating!!!!!
